Rules by owner.

This isn’t CB radio, so we conduct ourselves appropriately
No made up CB style call signs and handles; we use first name and FCC appointed call signs.
Family use is allowed, in this case you may say Home Base to unit 1 or mobile or something similar. Language will always be clean, kids listen to this channel.

Long QSOs with friends and other users is allowed, however, keep breaks in your transmissions for others to join in or make calls.

No business operation is allowed, so no, you can not start up your delivery service or farming or what have you on our repeater. This is SEMNAR, FMAILY, FRIENDS use only and above all, in the event of bad weather, then the repeater is RESERVED FOR SKYWARN USE ONLY. All other communications must wait until we clear the repeater for normal operations. An announcement will be made on the repeater when it is in SKYWARN use. IF it is storming, consider it is in use.

While there may be other rules for other repeaters in the area, these are our rules and YOU are expected to follow them. GMRS radio is not a RIGHT but rather a privilege PRIVILEGE by the FCC and by each GMRS repeater owner.
