SEMNARC utilizes Zello as a critical, standalone digital communication layer. These channels are kept private to ensure secure and orderly coordination during operations.

Training and Access

Access to SEMNARC and Fillmore County Skywarn Zello channels is granted to individuals upon the successful completion of NWS Skywarn training. We strive to ensure all our members receive the necessary training to report weather information accurately and, most importantly, safely.

Our Role and Affiliation

SEMNARC and Fillmore County Skywarn are independent groups of volunteers. We are not formally affiliated with any specific emergency agencies; instead, we serve as a vital resource by providing ground-truth data to officials upon request when radar data is insufficient.
